In the acting world, we beat ourselves up sometimes. Wanting to be on top is a difficult task, but very reachable...people have done it. I challenge myself daily and when I disappoint, there's nobody more disappointed in me than myself. Some would say that's not the right approach and always remain confident. Sure, in an audition room...you damn well better own that room! But I say, the moment we get comfortable and lose sight of those chasing us, is the moment we get passed by the rest of the field.
