Edward Norton's New York City Marathon Results. Edward Norton Is No. 1 In Celebs Edward Norton did an amazing job this weekend running in the New York Marathon--he came in first amongst all the celebs who participated. This is no easy feat, and his awesome time came out of nowhere--who would've thought that he would be leading the pack, unless they were following his training with the Maasai? Edward Norton beat out other celebrity runners like Anthony Edwards from ER and Alanis Morissette. His 26-mile race was completed in 3 hours, 48 minutes, and he was reportedly most pleased by the fact that he beat Sarah Palin's time of four hours. Norton admitted that he wanted to "destroy that time" in reference to Sarah Palin's 4-hour mark, and he said that "I'm gonna beat Sarah Palin like a rug!"
